Window poster campaign

Window poster campaign on health education and prevention

The Cespharm encourages French pharmacists to place a frame and posters on major public health issues in the pharmacy window or waiting area. This program is open to any interested pharmacist and membership is totally free of charge.

Objectives of the program

  • Reinforce the pharmacist’s role as a health educator
  • Help the pharmacist to:
    - save a part of the pharmacy window to information and prevention
    - promote public health campaigns
  • Call attention to major health issues and facilitate dialogue

In practice

The Cespharm supplies free of charge:

  • a dedicated frame
  • an average of six non-commercial posters per year relaying national / worldwide campaigns or promoting major public health topics
  • professional documents and brochures for the general public to support each poster campaign: a pack of documents is proposed in the "Participate in campaigns" section of the website.

How to join

French pharmacists simply fill in and sign the two copies of the partnership agreement and send them to the Cespharm. Membership is free.

The partnership agreement: a mutual commitment

The member pharmacist pledges to permanently display the frame in the pharmacy window so that it is clearly visible to the public and to slip the relevant posters inside. Cespharm pledges to send the frame and the posters free of charge to program members.

Member pharmacists attest overwhelmingly to the value of this program

In 2005, a satisfaction poll was conducted among pharmacists belonging to the program. The members responded that displaying the posters:

  • reinforces their role as health educators and enhances the image of their profession.
  • elicits requests from patients for information.

=> 88% of member pharmacists consider that the program meets their expectations.
