The Cespharm’s purpose is to involve pharmacists in prevention, health education and therapeutic patient education.

The Cespharm is a special unit of the French Council of Pharmacists. It targets all pharmacists, especially those in contact with the public (community pharmacists, hospital pharmacists, clinical biologists), both in continental France and in French overseas administrative divisions.

The Cespharm’s main missions are to:

• Inform and train pharmacists in the field of public health
• Provide pharmacists with tools for informing and educating the public
• Relay to pharmacists national and worldwide public health campaigns
• Develop and implement public health actions carried out by pharmacists
• Work closely with other key players in prevention and health education.
