Cespharm takes part in the design and promotion of national training programs for community pharmacists in partnership with continuing education organizations for pharmacists. The objectives of these programs are to update pharmacists’ knowledge of major health topics and involve them in the pharmaceutical care of patients. The programs are developed in collaboration with the UTIP Association (a continuing education association for French pharmacists), experts in the field, learned societies and patients’ associations.

All Cespharm / UTIP Association training programs have been approved by the HCFPC (professional committee in charge of evaluating the quality of training programs for French pharmacists).

The Cespharm / UTIP Association training programs:

• Therapeutic education of asthmatic patients (ongoing)
• Osteoporosis: from prevention to follow-up – recent data to optimize the pharmacist's role (2008-2010)
• Pharmacist and osteoporosis (2002-2003)
• Pharmacist and smoker (2000-2001)
• Diabetes I and II, the pharmacist’s involvement (1999-2002)
