The launch of the Cespharm's website follows the adoption of the French law "Hospital, Patients, Health and Territories" in July 2009, which officializes the role of pharmacists in public health. This political awareness of the importance of the pharmacists' role in supporting patients and healthy persons is an exciting development for the profession.

The pharmacists' missions include health education, prevention and therapeutic patient education. While the pharmacists are already involved in the education of the public and personalized assistance to the patient, the law should change their area of expertise and intervention. The Cespharm will assist pharmacists in these changes, particularly with the launch of its website.

This site aims to broaden and strenghthen the services offered to pharmacists by the Cespharm, to contribute to better inform them and to provide with practical tools for daily actions.
